Writer’s Bio

In my blog, I am sharing all things books, beauty, health, fitness, parenting, my personal work and much more! 🙂
Meeting new people and learning from one another is always a gift.

I have been writing for about fourteen years and with life experiences, I have grown more confident in my craft. Sharing my work caused me to be very anxious because in everything I wrote I left a piece of my life’s story. Allowing myself to become vulnerable frightened me and this put my writing on the back burner for much time. I put my pen away and went on with my life, becoming a mother and a wife. As an administrative assistant, I was not fulfilled and I knew it was time to get back to what I loved, writing. I became a student at Southern New Hampshire University and within a year in my studies, I became more confident and saw the growth in my skills. I began reading more and with that, began writing more. I have always enjoyed writing young adult contemporary stories as it ties in with my own experiences.

Now that I have worked with professors and other students, I have gained the knowledge I sought to become the best writer I can be. With these new skills under my pen, I started this blog and gained confidence with each follow, comment, and share. I look forward to where this will take me as a writer and I hope to create stories that steal the hearts of many and make a mark in the YA reading community.
