I feel so amazing after this practice! I really felt the burn in my core! I had a great full body experience and it awakened endorphins that shot my mood up to the sky! I am so happy that I am getting back into a healthy routine. Not only for my body but most importantly for my mind. Lately, I have been working really hard on changing the way I think and in turn, how I feel. About myself and the life I want to live. Incorporating positive body movement is something I am no longer taking for granted. And so, I encourage my readers to try this practice to awaken all the positive energy within you! It will absolutely brighten your day!

New Year, New You, New Lifestyle!

Let’s be real folks, for many of us, this is what our New Year’s resolution list looks like. Nothing wrong with making a plan, strategizing, and really inspiring yourself to be ready to crush these resolutions for the new year!

BUT, let’s face it, many people also fail at sticking to them. Why? Well, I can go on and on about how we can fail at something but I’m not going to do that. I want to talk about how we CAN stick to crushing these resolutions/goals and make them a lifestyle and not something we wait till the end of the year to commit to changing.

Life or Death?

Are you satisfied with your life now? If you’re thinking perfection then that’s something that needs to change right now. Don’t strive for perfection, otherwise you’ll end up disappointing yourself. Strive to simply be better than yesterday. Working on becoming a better you instead of a “perfect” you is what counts. No one is perfect, the happiest and wealthiest people are not perfect and come across mishaps but it is all how you move forward.

Don’t worry or be afraid of what you don’t have control over. Live you’re life as you choose. Live a life of fulfillment, a life by design, a life with purpose!

It’s in you, just allow it to happen and making small changes will bring you serious results!

If you can dream it, you can manifest it! 🙂

Mommy Workout

Being a stay at home mom can be difficult with the kids taking up so much of my time. Now that my oldest has started kindergarten, it does make things easier and I’m able to find more time to get a workout in. Even if it is just thirty minutes. It’s really all you need as long as you’re giving it you’re all! 😊

I’m not saying it’s easy. My littlest one interrupts a lot but I just keep pushing through!!

Below is a peek at what my workouts look like. I don’t go to the gym, I do everything in my house 😉 so there really aren’t any excuses. Even if you only have ten minutes a day. You can find the time!! 😊

Simple Healthy Snack

I’m in my second week of my second round of 21 Day Fix Extreme. It’s an amazing program that murders calories and comes with a simple meal plan system in order to get you RESULTS! When being active, you NEED to get your nutrition down in order to get the results you want. Snacking is often taken for granted. You have to keep your metabolism up and by excluding your snacks, that just won’t do.

I have a bit of a sweet tooth so I went for oats with a touch of dark chocolate, vanilla greek yogurt, and half a purple container or strawberries. Trust me, this was the perfect size!

People tend to get side tracked, if not completely fall away from their goal when it is too complicated. This program has made it so SIMPLE to follow this meal plan (along with the workouts), stay on track, and get results. What more can I ask for?

Apple Cider Vinegar Benefits

Anyone who knows me has heard me rave about this. I’ve been drinking apple cider for almost a year now and I absolutely love it! This has helped me with energy, weight loss, curb appetite, relieves sore throat, balances ph levels, and much more!

For internal health, drink one to two tablespoons in eight ounces of water, or your favorite drink (or shake), two times a day.

  • Helps with weight loss (due to its acetic acid) and curb appetite
  • Maintains your body’s pH level
  • Helps detox your liver
  • Boosts energy
  • Reduce heartburn
  • Helps your body fight candida (type of fungus)
  • Helps clear up blemishes and skin conditions
  • Improve irregularity
  • Helps with respiratory issues
  • Prevents allergy attacks
  • Gargle after brushing your teeth to kill bad breath and throat infections
  • Dip tooth-brush in apple cider and brush to remove stains for a whiter smile!
  • Add a bit in your preferred tea with honey and lemon when feeling under the weather
  • Use apple cider to make your own salad dressing! Tastes great and is great for you!

You can use this as a facial toner after your morning and evening skin care routine. After cleansing your face, gently tap dry. Take one part apple cider and two parts purified water. Take a clean cotton ball or cotton swab to evenly spread toner on your face. Let your face air dry completely, allowing the apple cider to absorb and follow this up with your moisturizer. This helps give your skin a youthful glowing look and those who have severe acne will find using this after about a week, it will significantly clear your skin!

For hair care you can purchase a spray bottle and add one part purified water and one part apple cider vinegar. When it’s time for your wash, spray throughout your scalp and length. Massage gently and then shampoo and condition as usual. This helps break build up, prevents and rids you of dandruff, and leaves you with shiny locks!

Suffering from sun burn? No worries! Apple cider vinegar helps with that too!

Fill your tub up with cool water and add one cup of apple cider. Soak for at least fifteen to twenty minutes for relief. 🙂

Having trouble getting the floors clean? Add half a cup of ACV to water and you’ll have clean floors and surfaces with no problem. Apple cider kills bacteria, making this product a great disinfectant and keeping a perfectly safe and clean environment for your little one to crawl on! 🙂

Need something to rid your pet from those pesky fleas? That’s right, apple cider gets rid of that as well! With a spray bottle, add one part apple cider with two to three parts water. Spray over your pets coat and those fleas will be dying to find a new home (get it? 😉 ). Your pet will be flea free and left with a beautiful shiny coat!

If weeds in your beloved garden are an ongoing problem, apple cider is the answer! in a spray bottle add one part apple cider and about six to seven parts water. Spray and say good-bye to those weeds! Happy gardening! 🙂

So, you see here the many benefits of having this one product on your shelf at all times! My favorite brand is Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar which can be found at most markets. I like to order mine in bulk on Amazon to be sure I never run out :).
