Writing 101: I Write Because…

Day 1

I write because there is a fire in me that can only be tamed by my pen. 

I write because there are words that don’t make it to my lips but are easily constructed by my fingers. 

I write because my heart is filled with untold stories of heartache and droplets of rain that wash away the pain. 

I write because telling is simply not enough.

I write because… I am alive.
